We are a state and federally recognized non-profit 501 (c) (4) & 501 (c) (19) organization. Our organizations represent approximately 4,000 serving Army and Air National Guard members at both the State and National level on legislative issues. We are chapters of fifty four (54) States and Territories representing over one million national guard members, retirees, families, and survivors. Our mission is to promote and advance the professionalism, education, and welfare of the enlisted members of the New Mexico National Guard. We focus on improving benefits and quality of life for our service members and their families both as traditional Guardsmen and when federally or State activated.
Some of our recent accomplishments at the state level include: half price hunting and fishing licenses for our National Guard members, Active Duty, and Veterans. In addition, we work together with our state representatives in presenting various HB / SB bills to support all Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve Component veterans / military retirees. We provide several monetary college scholarships to our membership and families and sponsor multiple military and veteran events and programs throughout the state.
We are excited to be conducting our 2023 Joint State Annual Conference 14-16 April 2023 in Albuquerque, NM at the Isleta Resort and Casino. We are expected to have approximately 500-700 attendees from members and families of the New Mexico National Guard. We plan to host a professional development session and several social activity events consisting of a Top Golf tournament, spouses auxiliary activity, junior enlisted activity, and banquet dinner. The venue is within minutes of the Albuquerque International Airport.
All conference sponsorship money benefits both the Enlisted and Officers Associations, and we can provide a W-9 as needed.
